Welcome to the newly launched Studio Thinking website!

We hope this site serves as a resource for you as you think about Studio Thinking and how it can be used as a lens for viewing the important work that goes in on your classroom.

Every classroom is different - student personalities and needs, classroom cultures, teacher priorities and values. . .all of these things make each situation unique. We hope you use the information here as a springboard for creating resources for your particular setting.

We created this website with several purposes:
  • to share some of the many resources that teachers have shared with us -- We received an overwhelming response from teachers when we solicited for resources for Studio Thinking from the Start. We couldn't fit all of these in the book, but want to continue the generous spirit of those teachers who shared them with us and find a place to compile them for you. Please feel free to continue to send in those things you've created that you think may be of use to other teachers
  • to share our thoughts - Studio Thinking is always on our minds! We hope to populate this blog with entries not only from the books' authors, but from guest teachers, administrators, policymakers, and anyone else who has something to say about Studio Thinking
  • to centralize communication - Please take a look at our News & Events page for its periodic updates. Please also feel free to get in touch with us via the Contact page. Have a resource to share? Want to be a guest blogger? Just want to share a good story or ask a question? Please reach out.

We hope to hear from you!
